Safeguarding & Welfare
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. At Easton, our approach is child-centred and considers what is in each child’s best interests. Safeguarding includes providing help and support as soon as problems emerge; protecting children from maltreatment at home, in the community and online; preventing impairment of health or development; ensuring safe and effective care; and taking action so children achieve the best outcomes.

Operation Encompass
Easton participates in Operation Encompass. Police may notify the school before the next school day when they have reasonable grounds to believe a pupil may be a victim of domestic abuse. This helps trained staff offer timely, discreet support. Information is confidential, securely stored and used in line with safeguarding and data-protection requirements. Operation Encompass does not replace other safeguarding referrals.
