Safeguarding

Across the Trust​, we maintain an ‘it could happen here’ approach. All concerns are taken seriously, recorded and acted on promptly. Children can report concerns to any trusted adult. They will be listened to, supported and kept safe. We do not dismiss harmful behaviour as banter or part of growing up. Our child-protection policy explains how we respond to child-on-child abuse, concerns about adults, online harm and children absent from education.. We recognise that the safety and protection of all pupils is of paramount importance and that all staff, including volunteers, have a full and active part to play in protecting pupils from harm. We believe that the school should provide a caring, positive, safe and stimulating environment which promotes all pupils’ social, physical, emotional and moral development.
