Mrs Payne - Hazel Class Teacher
My name is Mrs Payne. I have been married to Mr Payne for 35 years and I have two grown up children, my daughter is 33 and my son is 28, I have a Jack Russell called Jasper. I have been a teacher for a long time! I have been at Easton for 15 years and it is my favourite school I have taught at. I started my teaching career in the East End of London, then I moved out to Essex and finally to Suffolk. Every school I have taught at has been very different and I believe this has given me a wealth of experience. I have always taught early years, year 1 and for a few years I taught year 2 when we had Reception, year 1 and year 2 in one class at Easton. I love being a teacher, its all I have ever done. My favourite teacher ever was my mum and I learnt so much from her!
I enjoy walking Jasper the dog, riding my bike, swimming and Yoga. I am also proud to be a member of Pop Chorus, I love singing! I have been privileged to sing on the BBC stage at Latitude twice! and been involved in recording a CD for St Elizabeth Hospice.
